My Future MIL Covered My Bridal Veil with Wine Corks Knowing I’d Been Sober for 10 Years – What My Fiancé Did When He Saw It Left Her Speechless

On my wedding morning, my future mother-in-law, Patricia, walked into the bridal suite smiling and handed me my veil.

Then I saw what she had done.

Dozens of wine corks were tied along the lace.

I had been sober for 10 years.

Patricia knew my history, but she laughed and called it a “cute surprise.”

“If you’re really over it,” she said, “why does it bother you?”

Before I could answer, my fiancé Kevin walked in.

He stared at the ruined veil, then reached into his jacket and pulled out a small velvet box.
