Lauren Bennett, the British singer best known for her vocals on LMFAO’s 2011 hit “Party Rock Anthem,” has died at 36. Her former group, G.R.L., confirmed the news in an emotional tribute, remembering her warmth, laughter, and unforgettable spirit. No official cause of death has been announced.
Bennett first gained attention as a member of the Paradiso Girls before achieving worldwide fame with “Party Rock Anthem,” which topped charts across the globe and became one of the defining dance songs of the early 2010s.
She later joined G.R.L., known for hits including “Ugly Heart” and the Pitbull collaboration “Wild Wild Love.” After bandmate Simone Battle died in 2014, the group released “Lighthouse” in her memory and supported mental health awareness.
