My ex-husband Tom brought his new wife, Kristen, to our daughter Emma’s wedding without warning.

Emma barely knew her, but she smiled, welcomed her, and kept the peace like she always did.

Then things got worse.

Kristen joined family photos, questioned the seating chart, and even prepared a toast. I assumed she was overstepping.
