I Refuse to Treat My Coworker Like Royalty Just Because She’s Pregnant

At first, I supported my pregnant coworker—helping with small tasks, covering meetings, and being understanding. But soon, she began regularly forwarding her work to me with “baby brain” as the excuse. When I asked her to stop, she dismissed me.
Then one day, I walked in and found her sitting at my desk. She said she needed it because it was more comfortable. That crossed a line.
I left her a note asking to talk. Instead, she reported me for being “passive-aggressive.”
HR sided with her, saying my tone was inappropriate and that I should be more understanding due to her pregnancy. I was shocked.
After that, everything changed. Coworkers avoided me, and I was made to feel like the problem.
I’m not against helping—but there’s a difference between support and being taken advantage of.
Now I’m being pressured to apologize.
All I did was try to set boundaries.
Does that really make me the bad guy?
