A Man on a Train Took off His Shirt and Kept Pressing His Sweaty Torso Against a Woman – Until She Put Her Plan Into Action, Making Him Scream, ‘Please, Don’t! Don’t Do This to Me!’

I was taking a four-hour train to my mother’s birthday when the air-conditioning broke. The crowded carriage grew unbearably hot, but the man beside me, Lucas, decided that gave him permission to take off his shirt and spread into my seat.

His sweaty arm kept pressing against me. I politely asked him to move, but he laughed and told me to stop complaining.

When I called the conductor, Curtis, Lucas suddenly behaved. Curtis warned him to respect my space, and Lucas promised he would.

Ten minutes later, he started again.

I was ready to surrender my window seat until a woman across the aisle whispered, “I saw him do that.”

Instead of arguing, I wrote down what had happened and asked her to tell Curtis what she’d witnessed.

When Curtis returned, Lucas accused me of exaggerating. But the woman confirmed everything, and another passenger backed up my account of his mocking comments.

Curtis announced he would file an incident report and move Lucas to another seat.

Suddenly, Lucas was apologizing and begging me to drop the complaint.

“You could’ve just asked nicely,” he muttered.

I had. Repeatedly. Several times.

I kept the complaint.

When I finally reached Mom’s house, she smiled when I told her I’d stood up for myself.

For once, I hadn’t apologized for someone else’s behavior.
