Michelle Obama has once again addressed persistent rumors about her marriage to Barack Obama.
Speaking on NPR’s Wild Card podcast, the former First Lady laughed off the speculation, saying if they ever separated, “everyone would know.”
She explained that even small comments between her and Barack often make headlines, joking: “The fact that people don’t see us out on a date sparks rumors of the end of our marriage—it feels almost apocalyptic!”
Michelle also pointed out that in their 60s, they simply don’t document every detail of their lives: “Yes, we’re famous, but we’re not taking selfies all the time!”
The Obamas, who met in 1988 and married four years later, have weathered many challenges—including the strain of Barack’s presidency. But Michelle made it clear: despite the rumors, their bond remains strong.
