Erika Kirk Shares 3-Word Message to Alleged Killer at Husband Charlie’s Memorial Service

At a memorial service for Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on September 21, 2025, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, his widow, Erika Kirk, delivered a poignant speech. Before 90,000 attendees, she shared the devastating moment she saw her husband’s body after his fatal shooting on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University. Erika recounted a tender, previously unspoken detail about noticing a single gray hair on Charlie’s head, saying, “Now he knows,” with a tearful smile. In a stunning moment, she addressed his alleged killer, stating, “I forgive him.”

Erika described the ordinary morning before the tragedy, when Charlie left for his “American Comeback” tour in Utah. She stayed in Phoenix for her mother’s medical procedure, texting Charlie, “I love you.” At 11:23 a.m., she learned he’d been shot. At the hospital, Erika insisted on seeing him, finding peace in his serene expression, describing a “Mona Lisa-like half-smile” as if he died content.

The shooting, from 200 yards away, prompted a campus lockdown and a federal investigation. No suspect is in custody, with fears of a skilled, elusive shooter. Witnesses, initially confused, descended into panic, unsure if more shots would follow.
