My Fiancé Pressured Me to Send My 5-Year-Old Twin Brothers to a Group Home After I Became Their Guardian – So I Taught Him a Lesson He Would Never Forget

I was 22 when my parents died in a sudden accident.

My five-year-old twin brothers survived, and when the social worker asked if I would become their guardian, I didn’t hesitate.

“They’re coming home with me.”

My fiancé Elliot promised we’d get through everything together. But once the guardianship became official, his attitude changed.

“Send them to foster care, or the wedding is off,” he told me. “I’m not raising someone else’s kids.”
I was devastated—but instead of arguing, I smiled.

“Fine. But I want one last family outing first.”

Elliot agreed, believing he’d won.

That weekend, we took the twins to the state fair. After rides and cotton candy, a photographer offered to take our picture.

Elliot refused.

I smiled at him.

“You don’t need to be in it. You won’t be part of our family after today.”

His face went pale.

“You gave me a choice,” I continued. “You or my brothers. I chose them the moment you asked.”

Elliot exploded in front of everyone, shouting that I was ruining our engagement for “someone else’s kids.”

People nearby heard everything.

Someone recorded him.

By that evening, the video had spread through town.

Elliot called repeatedly, apologized, and begged me to take him back.

I never answered.

He wanted me to choose between him and my brothers.

Instead, he showed everyone exactly who he really was.
