Dad with a body fully covered in tattoos decides to transform his appearance – Here’s why

Ethan “ModBoy” Bramble, a 24-year-old Australian father, gained attention for covering nearly his entire body in tattoos and undergoing extreme body modifications, including tongue splitting, ear stretching, and even belly button removal. He began altering his appearance at just 11 years old and has spent nearly $60,000 AUD on tattoos and procedures over the years.

Despite once embracing his unique look, Bramble has admitted he now regrets some of his choices—particularly the tattoos on his face. Speaking openly about his experience, he explained that while he doesn’t fully regret his appearance, he wishes he had not gone so far with facial tattoos because of how people react to him in public.

Bramble shared that strangers often stare at him and judge him, especially when he is out with his daughter, which has affected him emotionally. He admitted that the anxiety and mental stress he experienced played a major role in his decision to begin removing the tattoos.

Over the past year, he has undergone multiple laser removal sessions and says the process has already covered his face several times in sections. He hopes that within the next two years, his face tattoos will fade significantly.

While Bramble says he is still comfortable with who he is, he feels more at peace knowing his appearance will gradually change. He describes the tattoo removal process as “clearing the canvas,” symbolizing a fresh start and a step toward the image he now wants for himself and his future.
