I bought my seat, so I have the right to lean it back if I want.

On a nine-hour flight, Jake reclined his seat fully, upsetting a pregnant woman behind him who complained about lack of space. Frustrated, he suggested she pay for business class. She later moved to an empty business class seat. At the flight’s end, Jake found a business class amenity kit in his bag with a note
thanking him for “inspiring generosity” that made her flight comfortable. Jake felt justified, arguing he paid for his seat and reclining is allowed. Was he wrong?
