I Refuse to Let My Stepdaughter Return Home After She Violated My Trust

This happened last night, and I’m still shaken. My 16-year-old stepdaughter was staying with me while her dad was away. Things were going fine—we had dinner, talked, nothing unusual.
After dinner, she said she was going to the bathroom. I went to the kitchen, then heard her voice coming from my bedroom. When I looked, she was on FaceTime with her mom, panning around my room—my clothes, my things—while mocking me. She even said, “Can you believe Dad left you for this?” and laughed.
I froze, just listening. When she noticed me, she panicked, hung up, and got defensive—accused me of invading her privacy and said it was “just a joke.” I told her she had no right to be in my room or share it. She stormed off and locked herself in the guest room.
Now I feel torn. Part of me understands she’s a teenager dealing with a messy divorce. But I also feel deeply disrespected and hurt. I haven’t told my husband yet, but I don’t think I can just ignore it.
