Patient’s Fear of Needles Leads to a Hilarious Dental Surprise

The dentist raised the numbing needle, and the patient panicked.

“No needles! I hate needles!” he shouted, gripping the chair like it might take off.

She calmly switched tactics and reached for the gas mask.
“No way! I can’t do the mask either—too claustrophobic!”

The dentist sighed. “Alright. Would you take a pill instead?”

Instant relief. “Absolutely.”

She stepped out and returned with a tablet.
“Here you go—Viagra.”

The man blinked. “Since when is Viagra a painkiller?”

“It isn’t,” she said sweetly. “But it’ll give you something to focus on while I give you the shot.”

Horrified but desperate, he swallowed it anyway.

Five awkward minutes later, the dentist picked up the syringe. Before he could protest, the shot was done.

“Wait… did you already do it?” he asked.

“Yes,” she smiled. “You didn’t feel a thing.”

The procedure went perfectly—until he walked into the waiting room. The assistant cheerfully announced, “He did great! The Viagra really helped!”

Silence.
Every head turned.
Including his wife’s.

The drive home was… tense.

Months later, when he returned to the office, the staff applauded.
“The legend is back!”

This time, he was handed a winking tooth-shaped stress ball instead.

Lesson learned: fear makes people agree to anything—and sometimes laughter really is the best anesthesia.
