Texas A&M cheerleader Brianna Aguilera, 19, died after falling 17 stories from an Austin apartment building, a death police have ruled a suicide. Investigators say she had made suicidal comments previously and sent a final text indicating distress shortly before her death.
Her mother disputes the findings, insisting Brianna was not suicidal, and has hired attorney Tony Buzbee to review the case. Authorities say they do not plan to investigate it as a homicide.
Aguilera was a Magna Cum Laude graduate, an accomplished cheerleader, and a Texas A&M student just one year away from earning her Aggie ring.
