Pat Sajak revealed on “Good Morning America” that he underwent emergency surgery for a blocked bowel after severe pain struck during a walk with his daughter. Medications failed until one instantly relieved it, sending him
into a vivid, peaceful hallucination where he heard his wife and daughter distantly and thought he was dying. “I was merely high,” he laughed. The surgery succeeded with no underlying cause. He’s back hosting “Wheel of Fortune,” feeling great, and jokingly wary of Vanna White enjoying the role too much.
