My Neighbor Blocked My Driveway for Months – He Regretted It When I Left Him Trapped

When my neighbor Peter repeatedly parked in my driveway despite my warnings, I decided to teach him a lesson. I’m Jake, a 30-year-old who recently bought a cozy two-bedroom house in a quiet neighborhood. Initially, Peter seemed friendly, welcoming me with wine and dinner. But soon, he overstepped—trimming my bushes without permission and driving across my lawn. Despite my protests, he brushed it off as neighborly help.
The tipping point came when Peter’s car repeatedly blocked my driveway, ignoring my requests to stop. Frustrated, I hatched a plan. Before a weekend trip to Vegas, I parked my car in Peter’s driveway, trapping his and his wife’s vehicles. While enjoying my trip, I received frantic texts from Peter, unable to move his cars. I responded, mimicking his excuses: “Just parked there for a few minutes. Neighbors help each other, right?” Then I blocked his number.
Back home, Peter avoided confrontation, and since then, he hasn’t parked in my driveway. My lesson worked—sometimes, giving someone a taste of their own medicine sets boundaries straight.
