The airplane seat recline debate: comfort vs. personal space. Mark, a 6’3″ traveler, shared his story. Exhausted after a delayed six-hour flight, he reclined his seat sharply without checking behind him. The pregnant woman behind him cried out, saying she couldn’t breathe. explaining she was eight months pregnant, in pain from the recline, and flying to see her dying mother. Mark’s wife says he was wrong for not being aware; his brother argues he had every right to recline. Now Mark’s torn: was he unreasonable for not checking first, or justified in using a seat feature?
