Janet, told she’d never conceive due to a rare condition, met Graham at 17 on the Isle of Man. They married at 24, and despite 12 failed attempts, a 13th try at 31 revealed she was pregnant with sextuplets. Defying odds, she delivered six healthy girls via C-section at 31 weeks on November 18, 1983.
With government aid and little sleep, the couple raised their daughters, who later thrived: Hannah teaches, Jenny bakes, Kate recruits, Ruth secretaries, Lucy flies, and Sarah, a mom, gave Janet a granddaughter. In 2021, Janet, now with three granddaughters, celebrated her big, happy family.
